St Dominic's College is proud to partner with The Footcare Project, with students joining the team recently to assist in preparing much needed footwear ready for client fittings.

The Footcare Project is a footwear drive organised by a team of dedicated podiatrists. With a profound belief in the power of community and compassion, our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of the less fortunate, particularly homeless individuals, who often face tremendous hardships and lack access to necessities like properly fitting footwear.

The College will be accepting gently-used footwear and new socks which we will then be delivered to The Footcare Project Team in the New Year. We will be accepting your kind donations in the College Front Office.

MOVE FOR MOVEMBER – MRS BRIGHT’S ANNUAL PLANK CHALLENGE

One of the highlights of our Movember awareness campaign is the much-anticipated annual Plank Challenge hosted by the incredible Mrs Bright.

As part of our efforts to raise awareness for Movember, Mrs Bright invites both staff and students to take part in this difficult challenge each year. So far, Mrs Bright’s record remains unbeatable, with no one managing to out-plank her!

A big congratulations to Mrs Bright, along with Year 7 students Flynn and Harry who claimed second and third place, respectively.

Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
